Professor Stefan Allesch-Taylor CBE, is a London-based financier, entrepreneur, charity chairman and philanthropist, with over 25 years’ experience of business startups, turnarounds and public companies. He has served on Boards in Europe and the USA as CEO, Chairman or senior non-executive director on both public and private companies in 8 different sectors.
Sean began his career within Corporate Restructuring at Duff & Phelps Investment Bank in Manchester. He later moved to Deloitte LLP working within their Transaction Services due-diligence team in Manchester where he qualified as a chartered accountant with the ICAEW. Post qualification, Sean moved to work for Rothschild’s Global Financial Advisory team in London and Manchester.
Paul Hammett was a founding Partner of Clearbrook and moved to a Senior Advisor role in October 2016. Paul has 20 years of direct investment and advisory experience and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Pure Data Centres Group Limited.
Paul Reith is a senior financier with over 20 years experience in international cross-border M&A, privatisations and capital raisings.
Massoud is an investment banker and corporate development professional with over 25 years experience working in the chemical industry, strategy consultancy and investment banking.

Robin is a founding partner of Clearbrook and also serves as its Chief Investment Officer. She has over 20 years experience leading and managing investments across Europe, the US and the Middle East. Investments and related managed assets have exceeded $13 billion. Prior to founding Clearbrook, Robin was a corporate banker specialising in capital markets and principal finance. She began her career at the Northern Trust Company in Chicago followed by management positions at Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and Westdeutsche Landesbank. Robin has served on numerous boards including All Services Group, a Dubai based temporary power, cooling and water company; Formula One Holdings, the holding company of F1 grand prix racing; Pubmaster, a tenanted pub company of 3,200 pubs; Bhs, a UK retailer; Whyte and Mackay, a global whisky company; Odeon Cinemas, the then largest UK cinema chain; Mid Kent Water, a UK water utility; Harbourmaster Capital Management, an asset management firm; The Office of the Rail Regulator, UK; Seamless Distribution AB, a Swedish mobile payments company and others. Robin is a Visiting Fellow of the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. She is also a Governor of the British Film Institute and an enthusiastic supporter of the Arts and Education in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Stefan is the Deputy Chairman of Action Hotels PLC; co-founder and Supervisory Board Member of asset manager Global Evolution A/S and the Chairman and Founder of Department of Coffee & Social Affairs a fast growing speciality coffee business in the UK and USA.
Stefan is authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority; he is regulated by the Danish Financial Services Authority; and is also approved as a ‘Controller’ of a German deposit-taking bank by the Bundesbank, BaFin and Germany’s Deposit Protection Fund.
Stefan is the Chairman and/or founder of a number of international charities and NGO’s based in the UK and Sub Sahara Africa. His focus for each of these charities is to use business and entrepreneurship as a solution to problems such as hunger, water poverty, opportunity poverty, homelessness and to improve education. To date over 1.6 million of the most vulnerable people in the world have been served by this portfolio of organisations in Africa and the UK.
Stefan has been appointed the first Professor of Entreprenuership at Kings College, London. Kings is a global top 20 ranked university with 28,000 students and 7,000 staff.
Stefan was appointed a Commander of the Order of The British Empire (‘CBE’) in the 2014 Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to philanthropy and charity in the UK and Africa.

He played a central role on the sell-side for Cinven in their £250m carve-out of the ASK Italian and Zizzi UK restaurant portfolios from the Gondola Group (previously included Pizza Express) and the sell-side for the shareholder of Mini-Cam, a worldwide supplier of drainage inspection equipment, on their sale to LDC. He was also a key member of the deal team on the sell-side for the shareholders on the £1.3bn sale of Euro Garages, the Lancashire-based forecourt retailer to TDR Capital and a buy-side role for Norcros plc, the market leading supplier of innovative bathroom products, on its acquisition of bathroom supplier, Croydex Group for £21.9m. In 2015 Sean founded ChooseMyAgent.co.uk, a consumer facing estate agent comparison website raising £0.5m in seed funding from a syndicate of angel investors to test a pilot version of the site in Greater Manchester. The site was rolled out nationally in the UK and subsequently repositioned as a B2B marketing service for the best estate agents in the UK. Sean remains an advisor to the newly formed Estate Agent Performance Comparison Ltd and joined the Clearbrook Partnership in 2017.

During Paul’s time as a Partner of Clearbrook, he was responsible for managing the execution of acquisitions and business strategies with portfolio companies, including fundraisings through the debt capital markets. He now acts as a Senior Advisor to Clearbrook in relation to new and existing transactions.
Previously, Paul worked in the Principal Finance Group at WestLB and began his career at Arthur Andersen in the Financial Markets Division where he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Paul is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and received a First Class B.Sc (Hons) degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.
Katie joined Clearbrook in March 2014 to lead the equity financing side of the business with a focus on preparing, coordinating and raising money for companies going through the transition of private to public. She has been advising and raising funds for growth companies with a focus on those listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange since 2005.
She has worked for various full service small-mid cap focused investment banks including Daniel Stewart, Arbuthnot and Northland Capital, where she was the Head of Corporate Broking. More recently Katie spent eighteen months with the Johannesburg listed $9bn market capitalised Sanlam Securities in their investment banking division in London. Katie has advised on over 100 IPOs, primary and secondary fundraisings. She has also been active in preparing a number of private companies for IPO and raising pre IPO equity. Katie’s most recent transaction saw her lead the successful IPO and $50m fundraise of Action Hotels plc, a Middle East based business founded by members of the Ruling Family of Kuwait. In February 2014 Katie joined the management team of Action Hotels as Director of Corporate Affairs to advise and coordinate on all matters relating to being a publicly listed company. Prior to investment banking, Katie spent four years in corporate restructuring and recovery with Kroll where she focused on the sale of businesses. She obtained a First BSc (Hons) in Business Economics and Finance from Loughborough University, coming top of her class and is a qualified accountant winning the global Bronze medal in her final set of exams.
Massoud is an investment banker and corporate development professional with over 25 years experience working in the chemical industry, strategy consultancy and investment banking.
Massoud started his career with ICI as part of the Quron development team before joining Zeneca Agrochemicals to manage pesticide projects worldwide. After completing his MBA, Massoud entered strategy consultancy initially with AT Kearney and later as a partner with Integrum focusing on post merger integration and programme management. In 2007 Massoud joined the start up team to establish BLME, the largest sharia'a compliant bank in Europe. Over the last ten years Massoud has held various front office roles in banking including Head of Capital Markets and Head of Corporate & Structured Finance where he established BLME’s healthcare finance business funding care homes, retirement villages, adult services and primary care assets for sponsors or corporate clients.
Massoud has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and MBA from Said School, University of Oxford.
Paul Reith is a senior financier with over 20 years experience in international cross-border M&A, privatisations and capital raisings.
Paul founded Symphony Advisors in July 2015. Previously he founded Mirabaud’s Global M&A practice and advised companies such as Arab Media Corporation (ART), Fitness First and Avalon Pharma.
Prior to this he worked with HSBC (London) in Corporate Finance, advising high profile clients such as Actavis, Astra Zeneca, Corus, Danaher, KKR, Shire, Texas Pacific Group, Travis Perkins and Vodafone.
Paul has experience of a range of commercial sectors including Telecom, Media, Technology, Hospitality, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Retail, Metals and Manufacturing. Prior to joining HSBC, Paul worked in M&A for both Barings Bank (London and Amsterdam) as well as ANZ Investment Bank (Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland).
Paul is a Science graduate of the University of Melbourne.
